I am several weeks behind, but the Allee's along with our family...Nick, Tara, Kaylea, Aunt Jenein, Uncle Steve, Stephanie, mom, and John...went camping the last weekend of July. We spent our camping weekend doing what we love and what we do best...eating, swimming, boating, fishing, and eating - wait did I already say that. For the first time in camping history we had an overnight bag catastrophe! Here is the story...I pack ALL of our necessary items for camping, which means food (coolers and totes), towels, tv, movies, Braden's bag, my bag, the dogs stuff (pillow, house, leash), basically EVERYTHING except Joshua's bag. After it is all packed up, I place it behind the love seat on the main floor so when Josh comes upstairs it is all right there. I go upstairs to double check that nothing is getting left behind. I round up the kid and the dog while Josh loads the back of the Explorer with all of our camping necessities. We pull out of the drive and head straight for the campground. When we get there we unload, and everything that was placed behind the love seat gets emptied onto the picnic table and then into the camper it goes. Well, when we got everything out of the back of the Explorer it was all there, EXCEPT my overnight bag! I was furious, so I had to spend the morning Saturday making a trip to Hermitage and to Warsaw to rebuild my camping wardrobe...new jammies, shorts, undies, etc. I was ticked, but it is now humourous, I guess! Other than that little snag, it was a great weekend...take a look for yourself and see what fun we had!
